About Us & How the Referral Works
How it works
- You send one short form with your ZIP code, what you need, and your test result if you have one.
- We review it by hand and pass it to one independent radon professional who serves your area and holds a current IEMA-OHS license.
- The pro contacts you by email or phone to ask questions, inspect, and give you a written quote.
- You decide. There's no obligation. Any price, contract, warranty and work are between you and the professional.
If no participating pro covers your address, we'll tell you so and point you to the IEMA-OHS licensee search.
How we make money
Participating radon professionals may pay us a flat advertising fee. That never changes what you pay through us (nothing), and it doesn't change your right to get other quotes. We encourage getting more than one estimate, as EPA does.
What we don't do
- We don't test for radon, install systems, or give medical or engineering advice.
- We don't have a Springfield office, and we don't claim to be a local company.
- We don't publish reviews, ratings or testimonials, and we don't vouch for any pro's work. Check their license yourself on the IEMA-OHS licensee search.
- We don't text you, sell your information, or sign you up for newsletters.
Why the site exists
Sangamon County sits in EPA's highest radon zone, and Illinois has specific licensing and disclosure rules. This site gathers the official EPA and IEMA-OHS guidance in one place and gives you a simple way to reach a licensed pro if you want one.

Referral service: We're a referral service that connects you with independent, IEMA-licensed radon professionals who serve the Springfield area. We don't perform radon testing or mitigation ourselves.
